Regenerative Cellular Tissue

You might be asking, what are stem cells used for? How do they work? Or, how can they benefit me? Unlike traditional stem cell therapy, we use Wharton's Jelly derived mesenchymal stem cells and other growth factors to treat injuries and pain because of their ability to regenerate, rejuvenate, and repair all of your body’s tissues. Our doctor in Tarpon Springs will listen to what’s impacting your body, determine how regenerative cellular tissue can help relieve your pain, and treat your condition to get you healthy again.

What Are Stem Cells Palm Harbor

What Are Stem Cells?

Stem cells are undifferentiated cells in your body that can develop into many different cell types, from muscle to bone and nerve to cartilage. Their function is to renew or replace damaged cells in your body after injury.

Unfortunately, as your body ages, the function of your stem cells diminishes. As your body’s ability to heal decreases, it becomes more difficult for you to recover from injuries or illnesses.

In order to boost your healing process, our doctor uses regenerative medicine to increase the volume of healing cells available to your body for healing. Regenerative cell therapy encourages your natural healing process by introducing more youthful regenerative cells at the site of your pain or injury.

Types of Stem Cells

Stem cells promote healing within your body, our doctors prefer Wharton's jelly derived cellular tissue for our cell therapy treatment.

Types of Stem Cells New Port RicheyAdult stem cells are collected from fully developed tissues, such as adipose and bone marrow. Adipose is a source of stem cells, but it’s also a storage area for toxins and fat. Bone marrow is an excellent deposit for stem cells, but obtaining them requires lengthy and painful procedures. On top of these challenges, both sources contain older cells.

The type of cellular tissue that our doctor uses are derived from Wharton's Jelly. This tissue is inside of the umbilical cord and retrieved at the time of birth. We trust tissue banks to supply us with vital regenerative cells from the Wharton’s jelly within umbilical cords.

Complying within the FDA and American Association of Tissue Banks, these tissue banks collect samples safely and painlessly during cesarean deliveries. These healthy regenerative cells are young but not immature and are delivered to your body in a high concentration. So, they immediately start doing their job when injected into the site of your pain or injury.

We may also use amniotic fluid therapy to facilitate your recovery. Amnion is collected in a similar process to our cellular tissue sources, from typically discarded birth tissue. Amniotic fluid contains helpful amino acids, cytokines, and growth factors that help rebuild structures such as joints and repair tears to tissues such as ligaments.
